Saidina Khatijah Zaharah

Khairulnisak Binti Haji Mohd Noor

Saidina Khatijah Zaharah Khairulnisak has obtained her LLB (Hons.) Degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2010. She commenced her pupillage and read in the Chambers of Madam Zahrah binti Ahmad of Messrs Rusni Zahrah & Associates and was later admitted to the Bar on 8th December 2011 and began her career as a paralegal and legal associate in Messrs Khairil & Co. until 2013. Then in 2014, she starts her new practice under Messrs Saidina & Co.

She is well-versed in general civil litigation and property conveyancing matters. She has familiarities in handling various property conveyancing transactions such as real property transactions namely Sale & Purchase Agreement Tenancy Agreement, Auction, Discharge of Charge, Deed of Gift/Hibah residential housing and commercial project, sub sale, banking security documentation and land acquisition. She is also well-versed in civil dispute resolution, such as Debt recovery, contractual & tortious disputes, defence, divorce, banking litigation (civil suit foreclosure and mortgage), personal injury, SPRM, drugs, Penal Code, criminal litigation, employment law, accident/personal injuries, bankruptcy & other execution proceeding, agreement corporate agreement & deeds, estate matter i.e will, probate & letter administration, commercial, general litigation and mediation session

A fluent Mandarin speaker, Saidina Khatijah excels at serving Non-Bahasa Malaysia and Non-English speaking clients.

Zuriyah binti Mhd Nordin has obtained her LLB (Hons.) Degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2003. She read in chamber with Messrs Ghani & Co. and was later called to the Bar on 12th August 2004/ She later practice as Legal Asisstant at Messrs Lainah Yaakob & Zulkepli (from September 2004 - December 2005), Messrs Syed Noh, S. Vimala & Co. (from December 2005 - July 2007), Messrs A Rahim & Co. (from July 2007 - December 2010) and Messrs Ramli Amar Jit & Tan (from January 2011 - December 2011) and has experienced mostly in handling conveyancing and banking litigations.

She consecutively joined Messrs Chow Tat Seng & Low (from December 2011 - December 2015) and has experience in handling various property conveyancing transactions such as residential housing and commercial project, sub sale, banking security documentation, tenancy, probate and administration. In January 2016, she joined Messrs Saidina & Co. She has approximately eighteen (18) years of experience as at 2020.

She is a fluent Bahasa Malaysia speaker and excels at serving Non-English speaking clients.

Zuriyah Binti Mhd Nordin

Nursyahana binti Ismail was born and raised in Penang. Her tertiary education began at Law Matriculation, UiTM Shah Alam before she obtained her LL.B (Hons) from the same institution and graduated in 2007.

 

She started her career in legal field as Assistant State Director of Insolvency Department Penang Branch before being transferred to be the State Director of Insolvency Department Kedah Branch as the State Director. After 3 years of serving the government, she decided to resign and get into private practice.

 

She then started her pupillage in Messrs Jayadeva & Kamal but managed to get exemption from doing 9 month-pupillage from the Attorney General. She was then called to the Bar on 24th November 2010 and was retained as a Legal Assistant in the same Firm until 31st December 2015. In January 2016, she became one of the partners in the same Firm. Nursyahana’s main portfolio was in general and civil litigation handling mostly on contentious matters. She was involved in numerous contentious matters involving Land Dispute, Fraud and Forgery, Employment, Defamation and others. Also due to her previous position as the State Director of Insolvency, she has vast experience and knowledge in the field of Insolvency Matters.

However, her journey in the Firm only continued until 23rd May 2016 in which she decided to move on by herself and set up her own legal firm. She subsequently founded her own Firm under the name and style of Messrs Syahana & Co. on 1st August 2016 and continued practising under the name and style of Messrs Syahana & Ong effective from 1st October 2016 until 31st August 2019.

​

She then started her new days as in-house counsel in her hometown, Penang where she worked at one of the construction companies as a Legal Executive there. Her deep passion towards the practising world led her to finally decide to return to the profession and she is now with us as one of the partners.
